Sounds like the crap the EWG (Environmental Working Group) does- a bunch of green fools sitting around a table reading brochures with zero idea of what they are doing.
I'm not a tree hugger, and only got into solar for the economics of it... but I like someone is looking at how these companies operate, and that the leaders in quality and output are also doing a good job in regards to business practices.
Prison labor is quite common in the US. The inmates get paid pennies for their work while the prison collects big dollars claiming they need extra security/guards to oversee the program.
Nothing wrong with Prison Labor, its a good thing to help pay for their cost.
Although some will argue that it is unfairly taking work away from upstanding citizens and undocumented immigrants.
The prisons can pay the inmates as little as they want, as long as they do not undercut the free [sic] labor market outside the prisons by too much in the cost of the final product.
But to achieve something in world and to bring the new technology in front of the people they are contributing a lot.So prison labour is a good thing to work in companies.
