solar panels imo are quiet inexpensive compared to like 3 years ago... BP Solar modules at 125w were selling for $650 bucks while you can get a 230w solar panel for as little as $500 bucks nowadays AND from a credible company.

Not gonna kid myself but if you think about your monthly energy bill as a fix cost (which it is) you can calculate your annual expenditure and then multiply by the number of years you expect to live in your home, way above 20 years....

If someone told yah all you need to is buy this $1,000 buck product to eliminate your energy bill, I'm pretty sure he went to Madoff U

The ROI on a solar power system is there yah just need to do the calculations and determine if it is appropriate for you. btw, with some of the new systems out there you can add a smaller system with future upgrade potential for you home solar system.

plenty of under $2 a watt panels for sale at sunelec.com

sunelec.con has dozens of multicrystalline ul and other agency approved panels for under $2 a watt .They sometimes carry ul listed thin film panels for under a dollar a watt in solar packages. Some non approved mono crystalline cosmetically flawed laminates are sold for around 75 cents a watt in bulk with a twenty year warranty.Be aware that you will not be able to use non approved panels anywhere there are building codes and use on insured properties in non code areas may be a problem also. You will not be able to hook into the grid with non approved panels.I have a friend who has bought from sunelec.com twice and other than a snafu on mp3 vrs. mp4 connectors on his first order has had good service.
