Feasibility of Solar power for commercial use

    Hi folks,
I am a small scale industrialist from one of developing countries. being an[LIST]
environmental enthusiast, it just crossed my mind:
    1. how much power can be generated in an area of 40000 m2 with avg daylight of around 8 hours?
    2. How much will be the cost of this entire operation?
    3. Has anyone previously tried to anything similar anywhere in world/ Asia?

If any of you senior guys out there can enlighten me, I will be more than greatful.

    with great hopes
    Bala

Try average summer season daylight of maybe 6 productive hours, as the sun moves off axis, power harvest drops. Winter you have 4-5 hours useable.
