I have been doing commercial construction estimating on the side for multiple years, but haven't put in any real time to make it steady (I am an estimator and PM at my full-time job). Most of my work was coming from one estimating forum
(planswift) which is now basically gone, so now I am not getting any calls for any work.
Anyways I'm wondering if any one else has done this sort of work where you were able to get work. I have tried
emailing some companies directly with a brochure of what services I offer, etc. (which looks better than the competitions brochures, etc. that I've seen). I have also posted a couple of times on craigslist, but haven't gotten
anything so far from that. Don't know if there is some other construction forum somewhere that I'm missing that has a services offered section?
