Solar pump wiring

Good morning gentlemen,
I am having trouble understanding how to wire a solar pump to a solar controller. Would appreciate any help
The images re the equipment are attached.
I think I might be able to do it but really need some reassurance rather than do it wrong.

That isn't a great diagram, but there is a person in this YouTube "FEILI 3FLD 3'' Solar Pump Controller Connection Video" date Aug 29, 2019 that connects Black to W, Blue to V and Brown to U.

The other brown, blue, black in the schematic is for a float switch (which you didn't say you had).

The person in the video didn't even connect the yellow with green stripe, but it's probably a ground wire. You can test this out with your multimeter.

Watch the video and see if you came to same conclusions as I did about wiring.

Yes I watched. My mandarin is a little rusty but got the idea.
I agree that yellow green is earth but where do I put it?
Earth rod in the ground?

I'm not a sparky, but a ground rod would be my guess too. Others with electrical experience may want to chime in.

Even if rusty, maybe you could still use him as a ground rod.

One more question here if I may.
This arrangement is going at the bottom of my plot and I would like to attach a light to it.
Would it be possible to somehow add a controller and a small battery with a light to this array?
Directly from the panels? Ideally 12v. I have many old 12v/24v controllers around.

Some solar controllers have a nighttime lighting function, to provide light after sundown.

This is a link to an honest one from a well know company.
Pay attention to your panels Voc ( Max. PV Open Circuit Voltage ) before buying a controller and make sure you wont fry the controller first thing in the morning
