Hi, anyone have any experience with IL srecs, How long of a wait before receiving them? I figure there might be some delay due to the new bill having to get passed.

Have you looked at the timeline on the Illinois shines website? Might be as long as 9 months from your projects completion the way I read it. I have not submitted mine yet watching the dashboard to see how fast the block is used up. Don't want to shoot myself in the foot holding out for a higher rate if there are no $$ left. -
No I guess I didn’t catch the timeline. I explored that site I think it was, a few times. Will have to go Look for that. Had mine installed and producing in Sept of last year. Don’t understand the whole process 100% I don’t think, but enough to understand it. Thank you.Comment

It was filled to capacity last year, folks like you were put on a waitlist which opened up again Dec 15ish. So depending on when stuff is submitted in batches could be another 3-4 months.

Mine was a couple years ago and I was around 6 months from install date, but as Mike mentioned, there was a big waitlist created in 2021, so timing may be longer now. I do know of a contractor who is actually doing the SREC admin themselves (versus outsourcing it to someone like Carbon Solutions Group) and are passing on the SREC to the customer (out of their own pocket) as soon as it is approved. Here is a timeline/process flow of the SREC program via CSG that was applicable for my payment, but may not be as expedient now.Comment
