DIY garage solar powered 12 v submersible pump styrofoam/cooler air conditioner -

can someone tell me please if it is possible to run this pump and this fan from this single panel at the same time . I'm in Orlando Fl . . - or if I would need a 2nd panel to run the fan. at this time I have the panel and the pump and it works fine with the panel on the roof . I haven't bought the fan yet . I'm not sure if this fan is even the correct /appropriate fan type for my needs ie. , solar power , wattage, amps, etc . . I'm electrically challenged - I don't know the first thing about electrical, solar or otherwise . I just want to cool my garage .

it occurs to me that maybe I need some other hardware to make this possible- any and all advice is welcome

Well that pump is rated about 4.5 - 6 watts depending on the voltage it gets but that fan is rated 6.6amps at 12V which calculates to almost 80 watts.

So to answer your question if that 28 watt panel will power both those loads. No.

On top of that I did not see a voltage range for that fan so you might be sending more then it can handle from a solar panel.

My suggestion would be to get a 12 volt battery sized to handle those loads for the time you want them to run and then get a solar panel and charger to recharge the battery.
