A cautionary tale about green jobs on NPR, of all places:

The state legislature and government jumped in with both feet without having done due diligence - or if they did it was very poorly done.
It makes not much difference to them as only a small portion of charge will be to their account in taxes.
Anytime politicians try to pick winners the public comes out the loser.

yes, that company is downsizing and Solyndra is also reporting losses. both funded by the govt. in CA some solar projects are tied up in court over indian burial grounds too.
follow the money.
everybody wants a piece of if and they are in it for fleecing the taxpayers.Comment
