Wireless Chargers

This doesn't really have anything to do with solar panel specifically, but I thought you all may still find it interesting.

Basically this wireless charger is the size of lets say a mousepad. You simply put your cell phone, ipod, pda, whatever down on it and it starts charging automatically. I can totally see this being a huge hit in the near future.

I believe the charging losses are pretty high, lots of power not getting picked up by the devices "puck". You have to buy a Puck, that attached to each device, to charge it.
Maybe in the future, more gear will come with the charging puck embedded in the device, maybe efficiencies will go up. But they are nifty.
