SunPower Commercial Install Quote

Hey everyone,

I'm new to the forum and am glad I joined - lots of great info on here! I wanted to reach out to this community to get a feel for the quoted price I have for a SunPower system. Here are the brief details:

1. Standing Seam Metal/Aluminum Roof's
2. SunPower 327 Modules
3. Large System, >100kW
4. Quoted price of $4.00 per watt, installed

Being that this is a commercial installation, I can't go into the details too much, but did want to reach out to the greater community and gauge from the collective experiences of everyone if I'm paying too much for my system? Am I getting a great deal? Any thoughts? I've also been told that SunPower is implementing a commercial-installation price increase to all orders in the near future - any insight on that? With no battery limits described one can not say what a "great deal" it is. Being a commercial installation you can't disclose details? Who ever told you that is hiding things - caution!

The best I can say (being a Sunpower Dealer) is get quotes from a few other dealers.
Prices can vary a bit dealer to dealer.
Finally do you need Sunpower? Is there roof left over and can you use another module perhaps?
