It sounds like symptoms began occurring in the fall when your heating system most likely started being used. The solar installation is coincidental to your symptoms and not the cause of them. Carbon monoxide poisoning is a real possibility from the symptoms you are describing. Especially when you feel better after leaving the environment. Your symptoms appearing at night and lessening throughout the day is another indicator as your heating system is kicking in at night and not needed as much during the days yet. You need to have a professional check out the possibility of CO poisoning immediately!

I think maybe she needs a "psycho" detector. Sounds like our typical Washingtonian tree hugger. I have a neighbor who freaks out every time I mow my lawn with my gas mower. Says it's killing her and her family. Needless to say I now mow my lawn more than I ever used to. Oops, did I say that out loud?Comment

Oh I think we all are in our own way. It's not meant to be an insult. Its just funny the extremes that some will go to. This was a very interesting thread.Comment

It used to be witchcraft and magic causing distress. Now it's electricity and other technology.
Humans have so many brain shortcuts it's understandable that some people end up with these bizarre beliefs.Comment

Hello, I live in California and have been living in a home that has solar panels. I have been living here since October and have experienced these symptoms. I am not crazy nor sick. My daughter has a auto immune decease and has many symptoms, which are very much like the gentleman who initiated this post. When we moved here we fell in love with the home, but my daughter started feeling more I'll and the. My husband and I started feeling odd. Not sick just not in sync with our senses. We began falling asleep at the dinner table and a lot of headaches. I tried to donate blood and my iron levels were off. My daughter was a competitive volleyball player and no longer plays. When we are out of the house we have lots of energy. My husband used to run 6 miles a day and he cannot even walk a block. We are not I'll, but can assure you that the panels have definitely affected our well being. Think about guys... Our panels our transmitting energy to the grid!'!!! Oh one more thing. We have no insects or birds. Please email me wingmomlc@gmail.com
We are moving next week! Done!Comment

Before you move, you might try switching off your panels at the inverter and switching off the AC disconnect after your inverter to see if it makes any difference.Bill - Phoenix, AZComment

Both cases sound like Carbon monoxide poisoning to me. Even with the solar panels you may have Gas or Oil heat. A broken or cracked burn chamber or lose chimney, can cause gas to escape and make you very sick. also new carpeting or any furniture with glues can give you formaldehyde exposure. Nice responses from you obviously intelligent, testosterone-hyped men. I am a supporter of solar power but a school across from my home just set up a massive solar array project 4 units 20' high with about 264 panels on each unit. Since they completed the project the Tinnitus for me and a guest has been off the chart and now my blood pressure meds aren't working. Just a coincidence?
To the original poster: does your house have natural gas heat? And do you have carbon monoxide detectors? (Houses here all have to.)Comment

I remember as a kid, I loved Big satellite dishes, I thought they were amazing Icon's of science. My extended family not much into science, Had to show me a newspaper article about a Temple/Church that had a neighbouring home install a Big Ugly Dish, claiming that it melted raincoats in the coat closet. Trying and explain to my parents, that the parabola of the dish was not such that it could have heated the closet, only the prime focus of the feed assembly, they waited several more years before we got our first C-band system. I was never able to find anything about it nor did I ever find out why rain coats melted. I suspect they had dry rotted from years of use and hanging them up wet.4X Suniva 250 watt, 8X t-105, OB Fx80, dc4812vrfComment
