So even tho both socket circuits have seperate fuses, power can still flow from one to the other, both directions? Sorry, just want to be sure as this is hard to test. If anyone can let me now how to test this this would be great!
Ie test that non-grid inward power can flow from circuit 1 to circuit 2
Cheers

Thanks Green
Very helpful. I have several circuits, 2 sockets, 2 lights, Smokes, Shower, Cooker etc. I am taking advice from this thread, I certainly wont be exapanding by GTI setup any further! I am sticking with my current set up for now which at maximum only pushes 170 watts and thats certainly not all day. Considering I live in a newish house, I'm sure such a low amperage wont burn away any wires. I'd imagine more strain is put on the wires while boiling the kettle or hoovering.
Once I get my head around how to do it cleanly without drilling through walls, I might consider a normal inverter off the batteries etc and resell the GTI.
Thanks for everyone's replies though. I got sucked in to this chinese promise of cheap 'plug n' play grid tying'.. I hold my hands up in shame! DIY Grid tie is certainly a pipe dream. Scary how many are doing it though.
