    Highest wattage / m2?

Hi, I'm looking at solar panels for a limited space.
I know I'm usually supposed to determine how much watt i need before deciding on a panel. But I have to do it the other way around.
So with current technology whats the best solution to get as much watt as possible on a limited space? And about how much can I get?

I would prefer decent thin film solar over big chunky panels, so tips on those are appreciated aswell.

The Sanyo HIT panels are among the highest; around 16.1% efficiency by panel. So that's approximately 161 watts per sq m. The HIT Bifacials will work with reflected light as well. Thus if it is mounted over a reflective surface (snow for example) you could hit around 200 watts under ideal conditions.

Thin film panels do not come close to crystalline in efficiency.

Look also at Sunpower modules I believe these have the highest energy density. I personally don't like the Sanyo's as they have a shorter warranty and use a combination of thin film and hard cells to reach the density.

Yeah I know, but since I'm designing the system starting with the panels then figuring out what I can use it's not too much of a problem.
Planning this on the roof of a car/RV so a big panel isn't as good looking as an "invisible" thin film on the roof. Also it doesn't bring as much attention as a panel would.

Just took a look at them, but they don't seem to have any partners near me, and apparently it's the only way to get them. Which is a shame since I liked them.
