In the unscientific data set of the forum, you might be better off with the 7600A-US. I had wanted the H too, but am thankful it wasn't available and I've dodged some of the problems others have seen on the new model.Leave a comment:

Is it worth eagerly waiting for my Zotrim to become available? For some reason I thought the 7600 was available.Last edited by Boveen; 10-18-2021, 07:56 AM.Leave a comment:

Code does not require the inverter automatically perform the shutdown function - they could have provided a switch for this. It's disappointing they abandoned this feature but they probably want to focus on actual battery integration instead of confusing people with something that operated only under the sun.Leave a comment:

Sunny Boy still has a solution that works with rapid shutdown. Shame that they had to drop that feature-I really would like it to go along with their Optimizers.
Thanks for the detail on why they dropped it-clarifies that the door will remain shut on that feature in the future for at least this generation of inverters.Leave a comment:

Did the optional 'Self-sustaining power outlet' feature they announced make it to market intact with the HD-Wave?Leave a comment:

Much nicer and neater....It's great they made them less bulky. It's a huge benefit.Leave a comment:

yeah still HDwave is the best option the way I see it but only if they had the bigger models out
they are not even planning to build the 11.4K model or even 10K model.
probably next year but I am not going a whole year without solar for that. I expect to move on my project by July. a nice 20k to 25Kw system
Just talked to our rep who stated that SolarEdge will be getting the SE5000H out to distributors in June and the SE6000H in July, and that they expected the SE7600H by late Sept.
He also stated that they plan to have the SE10000 and SE11400 replaced around the end of the year but no idea on when we would see the spec sheets on them.Leave a comment:

True in general for manufacturers, but I don't buy it in the case of the long advertized HD wave unless they have very big issues to work through with UL. This doesn't explain a multi-year product release time, and then only partial release at that. Not good for their brand to tout how revolutionary their product re-design is and then not have a fire under their butts to get it out on the market. If a SE representative is talking 2018 for the rest of their models now, they may indeed be having some major issues.Leave a comment:
