Yes, As someone who designs new products, the testing and tooling are usually the longest parts of the project.
With testing, if you have 1 minor failure, then you have to make a change and start testing from scratch. And testing can take a few months.

I think you have the wrong spec sheet

The one you showed is non-US

The 7600H isn't even on the current revision of the datasheet, and is no longer listed on any of the HD-Wave webpages. Sort of weird that they already got approval from the listing agency on the model, so it looks like something else is going on.

I'm not sure how to feel about the speed at which SE doesn't release announced products or otherwise innovate. Maybe my expectations are to high and I should just expect they are doing what they need to remain profitable. I think they were touting the HD wave in 2015...

I was very excited for HD wave as well but mostly due to the power outlet option that now seams it is removed all together. Sad!
yeah still HDwave is the best option the way I see it but only if they had the bigger models out
they are not even planning to build the 11.4K model or even 10K model.
probably next year but I am not going a whole year without solar for that. I expect to move on my project by July. a nice 20k to 25Kw systemLeave a comment:

I've been dragging my feet on buying the inverter for my DIY project, hoping the 7600H would come out in time to be useful. I'm ready to pull the trigger now, and the unofficial opinion of SolarEdge support isn't optimistic:

There is one on PVOutput now a nice SE3800H It is in Jackson, KY. Orientation is mostly South East but there is a dormer on the south east roof with two modules south West and two North East. (PVOutput only gives you easy set up for two orientations).
