There's a company in the U.K. that's making cloud connected solar home lighting systems that are well suited for the developing world and villages without power. We're thinking about collaborating with them in the future but my reservation is that it's a bit pricey. We haven't played with one of the systems yet but they look nice. Very nice thought, these days power cut is a major problem, In summer there is so much solar energy, so it can be used as solar energy in instruments so that we can use solar energy at home efficiently. Solar Home Lighting System is must these days and the good thing is it can be installed in open on roof/terrace.
