PV installers - Slash your scaffolding hire costs

Are any installers on here still hiring scaffolding for solar installations ?

Here (in the UK) there are very strict regulations about working on and accessing roofs safely, and traditionally scaffolding would be required to comply with all of those regulations.
We are Easi-Dec, and we make an access platform specifically for installing solar PV panels on domestic properties. It complies with all of the HSE working at height/fall protection requirements for solar installations and the platform can be assembled by the solar installer on-site in under 10 minutes, and flat packs down to be easily transported in/on the van, with a full complement of panels and installers.
Before the FIT change in 2011, we literally could not make enough of these systems, however we all know the solar industry took a big hit that day in December, so I understood why my orders dried up at the time.
However, we have recently noticed an upsurge in activity across the UK, certainly a few social housing contracts have been awarded and I wanted to start talking with the dollar industry again to get their thoughts on a few questions, ,

What are the regulations for access if you are not in the UK ?

Are any of you seeing any increase in activity or interest ?

Do you still hire scaffolding per job, and what is your average monthly cost of hire ?

Do you already use our Easi-Dec system and do you have any feedback ?

What do you do regarding the gable end of detached properties ?

Please let me know your thoughts.

Mod note - Hi Brett - I removed the advertising portion - to do that you need to have the OK from user name Jason.
