going rate for solar panel system installed per kw in NJ???

Anyone have some idea what the installed rate is going for? I was quoted 9 months ago at $3.25 a kw (for a 7.28 kw system) and just had a quote today from the same company at $3.73 (for a 9.36 kw system) I thought the rates would have went down. I remember last year people said that getting it as close to $3 is great.

I am getting quotes too, none are close to $3,

In "Price paid per watt" topic, icebox install looks closer to $3. I am looking for similar system. Hope he gets around to respond to my request.

Thank you for sharing. I was talking to Tim, he was promoting some German branded panels and Hyundai. I am talking to few other comparable installers who are quoting similar prices. I will choose one soon

I just had a system installed here in NJ and waiting for utility company to replace meter. If you are still looking and comparing installers then let me know to provide info about my system.
