What would be the best to use for a thermostat for my fan and what would the best fan be for my screen heater

My intention is to make a screen thermal heater that is 4x8 with two by fours and insulation with sun tuff for the glazing my Ports will be about four inches for the inlet and exhaust the panel will be about one foot away from the window that it is being connected to inlet tube will be seven feet long and exhaust about one I am wondering what improvements I could make and what I should use for thermostat to control on/off for fan and what would be best for fanComment

this is what i use it a thermal snap dick switch .. get at ebay or a furnes or pluming store they come with different temps.. get the right one
i run a duck fan they come in 4 to 8 inch and larger i think home depot or lowes. dont go to big or will go on and off a lot ... wire the heat switch in line with the fan.... the are utube.. easy ones you get one workin..............Comment

They also sell ones that the temperatures are not set. They all vary by 20 degrees but you can adjust the temp at which they turn on.

Be careful where you place your thermostat.
I put mine so it would be in the path of the warm exhaust air, but tucked it into edge of the panel for aesthetic purposes. It ended up being in the shadow of the frame of the panel until past noon. The result was a few hours of the panel at operating temperature without the fan kicking on.
Moving the thermostat to the middle had the desired result.Comment
