Thinking of building a solar powered sign for my small family restaurant.

My family and myself have recently opened a small restaurant in our little town. Its located off a major highway but we need a lighted sign to help attract more customers. There is an old sign pole on the opposite side of the property, nowhere near our power grid. I've been thinking of putting a lighted solar powered double-sided sign on this pole. I'm new to the solar powered world and was wondering if I could get some help on what type of system I could use to power, 3 or 4, 6 foot fluorescent lights I plan on using. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

You'd need to know the wattage of the lights you want to run ( plus the ballast ).....and I never heard of a 6' fluorescent light.

Then, you'd need to have an idea how many hours per day you want to run it.

Get those two pcs of info together first.
