Done. The survey focused on panels and their technology. Other than greater efficiency and lower cost. The biggest technological progress in solar systems has been made with inverters and more efficient charge controllers.

Done, unfortunately I appear to be "square peg" trying to fit in round hole survey. I did a DIY install 20 plus years ago when 2nd generation panels were "affordable" at $6 a watt and grid tied inverters were just coming out. I did the install as much as a learning exercise than a positive payback project. I was looking to change careers and having recent solar experience helped in the transition to a green company even though I never did any solar projects. Subsequent additional systems got me to zero net electric usage with enough surplus to heat my house and recently to charge my plug in hybrid.
