    Anyone replace SunPOwer Microinverters?

Has anyone replaced either under warranty or otherwise their Sunpower Micro Inverters with Enphase inverters?

If so, what were the circumstances?
How did you prove SunPower inverters were failing?

Currently having issues with micro inverters not producing to capacity.

    SunPOwer customer support not responsive.

What makes you believe they are not producing to capacity ?

What did the installer have to say when you called them ?

Sunpower replaced all of my Microinverters (not Enphase) as the symptoms were reduced output and the inability of the system to report data to the app. They tried to say my output was fine and the reason data was not being reported was because I installed some new device in home that was causing interference.

After replacing all inverters system once again reports and produces as expected. FYI, microinverters lasted about 3 years said they traced to bad batch and replace with newer version refused to replace with Enphase.

Are you sure they didn't replace with Enphase? For the last couple of years all SunPower inverters are made by Enphase

We are going to be replacing your current Gen 3.0 inverter with the new Gen 3.1 inverter. The current inverter has a faulty capacitor which stops accurately reporting production. We are replacing it with a the new more reliable non-faulty capacitor found in the new Gen3.1 inverter. This exchange does not require new mounting.

Enphase would have required new mounting points on the panels and new wiring. If these 3.1 inverters fail after 3 years going to get them to replace with Enphase.

              Sarcasm alert!

Dang! Wish my system had 26 of those 3-year old micro-inverters so I could get me some of them fancy "non-faulty" capacitor types. My old string inverter is so passe.

Hope the OP comes back with an update but I think it was drive by posting. He hasn't checked back on his thread since May 19th.
