    Tucson Electric Power NEM

I have a relative looking into installing a PV system in Tucson. It looks like currently their NEM allows homeowners to receive credit equal to retail prices for excess generation. I know they are planning on changing it to wholesale in the future (less than $0.06). I believe the cost for electricity from TEP is about $0.09 to $0.11 per kWh on the standard plan and $0.06 to $0.13 for Time of Use. It also looks like they have a $10 to $15 monthly fee.

Do they have an annual true up?

What happens if you have a net surplus of kWh at the end of the year?

Can someone that has or is planning to get PV with NEM through TEP verify or provide more information.

I'm not a TEP customer but their rate case will likely be very similar to that of APS when it goes before the Corporation Commission in the next year or two. It does appear they have an annual true-up in October - a nice time to have it IMHO. As far as actual rate info, this is from the TEP website: https://www.tep.com/customer/rates/ .
