Here's our net usage and net costs for the day. We produced a net excess of 7.94 kwh. Note that because of our TOU schedule (E-9), the excess production occurred during the more expensive peak and partial-peak hours, meaning that we earned a total of $3.63 for the day. Ha! I love it!!

Nice system...optimizers?
Nice looking system! I've heard good things about the installer you used. Did the system include DC power optimizers for each panel with the Solaredge inverter....and do you see panel-by-panel monitoring if so? THanks....Mark H. Pleasanton, CA

Here's our electricity bill broken down by day. You can see where the utility started the net metering -- in the last two days, the cost went negative. So instead of us sending $3-5 to PG&E every day, we're earning $4 from them!
It's not a great deal of money, but there's something viscerally satisfying about this.
