78 volt 50 watt single panel solution?

Hi guys, first time poster.

I purchased a used solar panel from a coworker a few years ago in hopes that I could make a fun little project out of it. But after doing research then I couldnt find any good converters for 78 volt, let alone any reasonable results in search for anything regarding a 78 volt panel.

I was going to sell it and get it out of the garage but I thought I'd take one last shot at this site.

Its a BP Solar mst50ihs. Big glass panel with metal brackets on the side.

Is there a way to tie up a string of 6 12v batteries to it? Seems everything is 12v out there now. Or does someone have a better idea? My knowledge is pretty minimal.

Sure get a MPPT controller, and use any battery voltage you want from 12 to 60 volts

Thanks for the info. I saw before that all those controllers are rated at 12/24/48 volts etc which is not the 78 volts my panel is at.

I did, however, see this stat at an controller being sold on ebay:

the stat is "input voltage range" and it covers all the way up to 110 volts. Does that mean it will take my input voltage of 78 and transfer it down to a bank of either 12/24/48 volt batteries?

Can you lay out an example that would work for me? Not sure if I have it right.

Help for what ? that 78V panel ? A MPPT controller (that can handle a 78V input) was already suggested.
Want a model #
