solar cell and aa battery combo?

The idea is something like the solar powered calculator: solar cell and battery

I have a fan that runs on rechargable aa batteries. I was just wondering if I could use solar cell when the sun is available that can either give more power or charge the battery. Sorta like the calculator that uses solar when available, and battery when there's not enough sunlight. The amount that the solar cell will probably not be much but i'm wondering if it's possible. Maybe i'll use a larger solar cell.

They sell those small cells on ebay, as well as solar fans.

They have videos at youtube that show you how they work.

hi thanks for the response, I searched online for solar fans or chargers a few days ago, however I'm looking for a way to use both at the same time and having the fan turn faster or use less battery but it's just an idea (unless there is and I overlooked your links). I ended up tubing Beam bots, lol. But maybe I could use the solar cells to charge up the capacitors to give that extra kick to the motor while the batteries are being used. That or have it charge the batteries.
