You could request that it be included in the PVOutput uploader. If you are using the donator version of the uploader (with 5 min status interval), it is already making the API call necessary to get the temp, and it would just need to be stored (probably to one of the extended values (v7 and higher)).
The PVOutput forum thread discussing the uploader is here... you can see he was very responsive when I suggested he use the 5 min data. Certainly doesn't hurt to ask.

Good question. Hope there's a way it can be done!Leave a comment:

I was wondering (since I was curious as well) if the inverter temp could also be logged in pvoutput? I took a quick look and I didn't see a way to customize/extend the auto uploader for Solaredge ...
Any one else look into this?

Highest temps I've seen are 127-133 while showing 7700-7900 (w) output. Inverter is mounted in the garage and temp was probably in the 90's in the garage at the time.Leave a comment:

1st Post!
HX_GUY I finally made it hereThis forum is nice, it seems a lot of solaredge owners here.
It was me who made the website with the typo's for the headerThe fans work great. My Inverter is inside my AZ hot garage, in a cabinet (that is open) the fan brought it down 15-20 degree's easily. Waiting to see what happens when its 118-120 out.

I'm not home much during the day so just got around to checking my temp for you... 103.4deg on my SE3300 running 3.7kW array, putting our close to max power. Situated on the east side of house and its just before noon here so has been in sun all morning with current ambient temp about 85degF.Leave a comment:

Checked the Kill-A-Watt and the fan used 0.25kWh in 7.5 hours of run time...which would equate to 0.33kWh for 10 hours (9am - 7pm)...if I ran it every day all year, that would be 120kWh for the year...and I probably won't even run it in the winter/spring (unless I see there is a benefit to it production wise, but probably won't be).Leave a comment:

When Summer comes, that cooling fan might not work since the temp reach 100F+Leave a comment:

Seems to be working well...yesterday at 12:30pm the temp was 161 and today at 138. Hard to tell any difference producing wise as there been some clouds the last couple days.Leave a comment:
