        Who did you go with?

        Hi M. Solar,
I just discovered your thread as we are in the same bucket as you: we live in the Hudson Valley, are thinking of installing a rooftop system, and are between a string inverter proposal and a solar edge proposal. We are leaning towards solar edge despite fears the other firm has tried to raise about track record and reliability. Who did you decide to go with? Have you installed yet? And how would you assess your experience so far?
        Cheers,
        kromed

I bet I know who the anti-solar edge firm is. I haven't installed yet. Install will be the last week of June. I went with my cheapest quote of $3.40 a watt before incentives using solar edge and solarworld 285's. Solar edge was chosen due to some shading and using two different facing roof surfaces. I'll PM you more info.

Thanks for the PM. I'd PM you back but I don't have those privileges yet! We actually are far down the road with the contender you almost went with. They've been great to work with, very professional and transparent. Glad you had good things to say about them.
