      $54,165.00
      $4.33 Watt - Pre-rebate

      What I ended up with was a Sunpower X21 - 335W BLACK (37 Panels) @ 12,400KW
      for $3.95 Watt (pre rebate)

That's a bit like the pot calling the kettle black, ain't it.

To the extent those #'s are to be believed, and that means questioning the vendor, not the OP, there's a lot of interesting information in the OP's first post, starting with $1.62/Watt for 335's.

I'm a bit skeptical in that some of those #'s are identical, and they all divide out to a whole # multiple of the $54,165.00 total. For example, the panels are 37.00% of the of the total, or the $1,624.95 # which appears 3 times, is 3.00% of the $54,165.00, etc.

However, IF those #'s have some actual, or some version of truth to them, I bet the peddler's about to get their goodies in the wringer from either their boss or S.P.

I intend to hang onto that post. Maybe the relative %ages have some use.

LOL, I meant "I am too lazy to add it up" and was wonderng the total. I should have clarified, obvisouly he typed out the whole thing so we could see a breakdown, its quite interesting to see it this way.

Maybe because I was Born and Raised in NYC, But I cannot FATHOM, why a solar dealer sends you a 4 page document
two of the pages are absolute horse crap, one is vaguely relevant, and with actual numbers, that say

            Solar system 65,282.00
            CASH Incentive $11,291.72

            NOW PAY US...

Do people REALLY hand over a check for 50 odd THOUSAND Dollars on that little info?????

I have seen a paper like this and it's interesting looking into that you could see how an installer could profit; an LG300 system would cost them total $2.97/watt including $.20/watt for 100% commission salesman. But then it's all coming down to finding a reputable installer that willing to give you lowest price that's still worth it to do the job.
