    I've been less than enchanted with my Zigbee wireless system. It crashes at the slave with the inverter not recognizing that there is a slave zigbee installed after working for a day or so. Always happens after dark when in 'Night Mode'.

    If you cannot physically wire into your router, I guess you would need to buy a wireless bridge that extends your wifi network to a hardwired port. Something like this, for around $20, should work.
    I'm thinking that something like this in Client mode would work great! I think I can stick it in the DC disconnect box that mounts under the inverter since it's a plastic box and there is AC power I can wire into for the little thing. A short ethernet jumper to the Communications card in the inverter, configure the inverter SERVER for LAN from Zigbee and hopefully it will make the trip to the cable modem box I have from Xfinity. The cable modem box even has a WPS button on it just in case. (I don't have a password on my cable modem box, I'm so far out in the country, no one is going to tap into the wifi so why bother.)
