Solar install turning out really bad - looking for some help/advice please.

Don't know. I checked online and the installer hasn't completed the "Certifications" online (I guess they need to log in and fill something out online?). Plus APS needs to be given notice from the city that it was approved, not sure how long that process takes either.

System is kicking though...err I mean testing.

Did you ever get an answer about that 131 F reading on the heat sink of the Inverter?

Is that within spec or approaching a shutdown condition?

The city told me it's an OSHA thing, they aren't allowed to go up on the roof. Really sucks for 2 story houses, they don't even get a visual inspection for a ladder that one story houses at least get.

I can understand not wanting to put their employees into harms way but by not inspecting the complete project doesn't that open the door for an unsafe or non Code installation?

I guess if a fire breaks out it then becomes the responsibility of another city department. Talk about passing the buck.

Interesting the inspection sticker states that some parts of the project were "not inspected" and therefor compliance is the responsibility of the Contractor who maybe by now is "in the wind".
