Any reputable & reasonably priced installers in the pennsylvania lehigh valley area?

hi, i've been thinking about getting a grid tied solar system installed for about a year now but didn't move forward yet Just wondering if anyone has any recent experience getting installation done in this area. I estimate my avg monthly power consumption would be around 1500KWH; also the roof is south facing and I believe I need an atleast 10kWp system? Also, now that the PA sunshine program has no money remaining, does it mean the only credit/rebate available is the 30% from the fed? thanks guys

I live just west of Philadelphia and used Astrum Solar to install my system. I have 40 250w Canadian Solar C6SP panels along with 40 215w Enphase Micro Inverters. They have by far the best warranties in the business and use their own contractors. Most other companies use 3rd party contractors. The quality of their work was impeccable. All three inspectors who came through my home mentioned how impressed they were with the work. The fire inspector was especially pleased. He examined my system from the attic to the basement and he mentioned that lots of Solar companies cut corners but my instal was perfect. At the time I paid $3.60 per watt before the Sunshine grant and Fed credit. PECO also gave me another $400 credit to my electric bill. I obtained 4 quotes. They were not the cheapest but were the best and the only one of the 4 companies that use their own people rather then contractors.

I estimate that my 10k system should generate around 13,500-14,000 KWhs per year and my roof faces direct south. If you want to cover all of your 18,000 KWh needs you will need a bigger system then me.

I can't say much about the Sunshine grant other then the funds have run dry before and they voted to add more money so I'm not so sure thats over for you. Talk to Astrum, they were great with the paperwork and options available.

If you decide to contact them for a quote drop me a private message!

Please send vendors names by PM only - we have no idea about the party and do not promote anyone.

And under no circumstances post actual vendor links or emails.
        Thank You!
