can i put an mppt controller into the same battery bank as an pwm controller

:have tried joining then with lugs onto the battery no sucess, the 30 mppt has a 70 w Sunware solar panel and the Pwm has a 504 marlec wind turbine
If i can join them to feed into the same battery bank (2x haze gel 360 amp hrs) at what point, from diagrams i have seen, it looks like it is before reaching the battery bank.thanks am confused

Not going to happen. You can parallel 2 PWM,s or 2 MPPT's, but not one of each.
