Solar charge controller plus the noco genius battery charger

Hi Guys, I purchased the Noco Genius GEn2 battery charger, and I would like to know if I can use the noco and my solar charger to work together, the manual said that it can be hooked up all the time, at night I need for my battery to keep it charge and so I purchased noco to see if it would do the job, please let me know if I can have two devices running at the same time, the solar controller at day and the noco at night without disconnecting either one. Thanks

    The advertising department never lies.

But, when solar is charging a 12V battery, you can have 15 or 16V present at the battery terminals, and that can be bad for some 12V devices.

Ok thanks, when one is charging I will disconnect the other, a quick question, the bls-48bw desulfator rejuvenator battery life saver, can this device be connected all the time and does it work like advertised. Thanks

Generally, desuflator modules are designed to be attached at all times. Because of variability of battery banks, and the expense of testing (you need to destroy at least 10 banks to get some statically valid results) I don't know anyone who has done the testing. At least nobody seems to say they are bad for batteries. They consume a small amount of power, and can sometimes make a bit of electrical interference from their pulsing signal. Some cheap charge controllers are adversely affected by that.
