    One Stop Solar

I just wanted to say I just had solar panels installed at my house. Im so glad i did it. I'm not only saving money, I feel like Im also living a little cleaner. I really wasn't that up on solar energy and i took a long time to decide on the what was best for my personal needs. I finally found a great company in central Florida by the name One Stop Solar. They really helped me pick what I needed. I never felt pressured or like they were trying to get me to buy more than necessary. I appreciated the quick service and installation also.
It took me a lot of time and research to find someone I trusted and I just wanted to share that with anyone else that might be in the market to get solar power in their own home.

Hi SunnyGirl, thanks for joining Solar Panel Talk to share your story.

Would you mind sharing photos of your install? Sounds a little like indirect advertising to me.

One Stop Solar seems to be on a campaign - this morning there was a comment about how wonderful they are from a poster on another site where I am a moderator.

This is nothing more than a bait and switch operation. They list on google addresses for their showroom floor as: 3881 Old Winter Garden Rd Orlando 32805 (this address belongs to HD supply - I went there and they had never heard of them or anything about a showroom floor) The second address was 3676 Hogshead Rd Apopka FL 32703 listed on their business card (this was a dead end street in a residential neighborhood - I also went there and they said they had no showroom there either and never have.)

They use a boiler room on 151 Wymore Rd #6888 Altamonte Springs FL 32714 to call unsuspecting home owners and tell them they have a 30% Tax Rebate and a Free Energy Audit. Then they send out a sales person who has been trained for one week who has no idea they are in the middle of a scam. The pitch goes like this "if you come to our showroom floor the price of the equipment is $14,095 but if you buy in your home tonight you get a manufacturer rebate of $2,000 and we will waive your $750 installation and $350 permit fee - price is now $10,995 and you have to do a CUSTOMER REACTION REPORT and accept or decline the offer.

In reality there is no showroom floor and the equipment can be bought at any plumbing and solar store for $750 for the hot water heater and under $900 for the solar panel...

Beware of everything this company says including how they explain the Federal Tax Credit. Their intention is to sell you a $2,000 dollar system for $10,995 and then put a lein on your home as fast as the equipment is installed...

Thanks - I copied this and posted it on my other site where a party had posted similar content.

Sounds like house siding salesmen changed their product!

Home water treatment and siding sales both have too many of the slimy types.

Lots of good people in those businesses I am sure but the garbage high pressure sales types deserve to roast in a very hot spot for a long time!

If it softens hard water & works you can email it to me. I'm on my 3rd water softener in 20 years at this house. Getting tired of replacing them, not sure about the environmental effects. On the plus side, I've learned to do it myself to save money. Plumbing not my favorite dyi.

One Stop Solars Fake address - link provided

One Stop Solar lists it's address on Google under the search of "One Stop Solar Orlando" as 3881 Old Winter Garden Rd Orlando FL 32805

You can do a google search and see for yourself that it is a fake address. It belongs to HD Supply - I went there and they said One Stop Solar buys supplies there and that had NEVER been their address and they had NEVER had a showroom floor there and they DID NOT have permission to use this as their address - QUOTED FROM MANAGEMENT.

ONE STOP SOLAR - Do the right thing and clean up your act or get out of Orlando.
