Need a straightforward guide for hybridizing existing grid-tied system

Hello Folks,

Can somebody provide a a good youtube link and/or straight forward thread(s) that gets into the basics of hybridizing an existing grid tied system?

I am wanting to roll up the sleeves and hybridize my home solar system.

I assume you mean add a hybrid inverter with batteries to an existing GT system? If so, search YouTube or the Internet. Terms like AC coupling could get you specifics. Any installation video or thread on a diy forum will give you plenty of examples. I posted my hybrid inverter installation on this forum, but I would not call it straigtforward:

I posted a link to a thread I started on the subject a few years ago but it has evolved a lot since then and reconfigured in a new home. I also realize I spent most of the time defending it from some members here who had not yet embraced the emerging trends. I don't think that thread will give you what you are looking for.
