My stacked Sunny Islands will be hooked to the grid soon. Its currently set up for strictly off grid, keeping batteries charged and supplying power to outlets when I plug into them. I want to set up to keep the batteries charged as priority one and then send the rest to the grid. I have existing grid tied inverters on the house main panel so my metering and permits are already set up for Net Metering. ( I will need to do an amendment to my permit) No need or interest to do Time of Use as my utility has a straight rat 24/7/365.
So is it major effort to set up for grid tie? My guess is just a parameter change but always nice to know from someone who has done it.
Thanks
