    Rack system customer service success story

    Most of the time when I cruise these forums I see either pleas for help or complaints about failures. Well, this post is about a great service support team I just dealt with from Iron Ridge (nee Two Seas). I live on a Caribbean island and have been off-grid since 1999. Given the location, the salt effect on any metals is tremendous. In 2006 I noticed that some of the bases on my array had begun to corrode and Two Seas immediately sent me replacements. This year, I found that the remaining bases had corroded and corresponded with them via their website. Again, they have provided replacement parts despite the fact that I am bit out of warranty.
    My experience is that this sort of customer service is quite common in the solar industry but you never read about it and I thought it was time to send some praise where it belongs.
    Maybe some of you out there can chip in with some other great service stories to thank the industry for the way it supports us. What do you say?
