    Single solar panel, no output

Hi folks, I'm new here. I do some work at a nearby market garden, helping with maintenance. Our packing shed has a solar panel, which trickle charges a lead acid battery. Said panel was blown over a couple f times in winter storms, before we got around to tethering it effectively and now there's no measurable output. First lesson learnt.
But my Q is this: is it possible that the panel is repairable - ie is there a possibility that a wire has come adrift somewhere? Or are solar panels constructed in such a way that a couple of hard knocks is highly likely to render it unserviceable? I know nothing of their construction and so have to ask this what must seem a rather basic question. Thanks

Is it possible that you've got the leads reversed? Take the panel off the roof and test it with a meter To check for Polarity and power output

Thanks, lh. `I noticed that the leads are fitted with asymmetrical plugs so that they only fit together the right way so I'm confident they are OK. I think one thing I could do is go as far back along the cable run as poss. to the junction box on the back of the solar panel and then check for output there. Up 'till now, I've only checked for output further along the run, up by the control panel, when we first noticed the light on the control panel went out...
The other thing I should mention is that the front (sun-facing) surface of the panel, although intact, developed a crazed appearance, after it was blown over, the first time. I dont think this is good sign!

Nope, it sounds like the tempered glass is shattered. Time to buy a new panel But what I was Trying to say is check individual panels, not the end of the string
