The VOC is 41.75V each panel. I want 6 460w panels. The input should be 250.5 volts. It's awkward since I see a lot of controllers using 250v max input. Is my calculation wrong. is there a controller just over 250 V input or maybe I can do a series parallel? I have a 100' to reach the controller and batteries so I have been also trying to stay with the 10awg wire capabilities. The batteries are 48v.
EDIT: I'm considering an oversized controller 48V 140A MPPT Solar Charge Controller with Max.PV Input 500V. It states to have an optimal input voltage of 280v which seems very close to my 250.5. I'm sure there's a way to split the array in two but it starts to seem complicated for me at that point and there's the extra wires.
