Inverter trimming too much of the production ?

Hello, I have a 25,5kWc grid-tied (no injection) PV system with two 12kW Huawei SUN2000-12KTL-M0 inverters. The whole systems works pretty well but something puzzles me when I look closely at the monitoring system that shows the PV production, the part that's used onsite, and the draw from the grid. Even when it's full sun in the afternoon and the power consumption on the site is less than what the PV can produce, I never go down to zero draw from the grid. My prod always seems to get clipped 2 to 3 kW below the consumption. I understand that there could be a bit of a margin to make sure there is never any injection but 2 to 3 kW out of usually about 10 kW, that's quite a bit for production loss. I asked the installer and he said that was normal but I find it strange as I have friends who showed me their production curves and they align much closer to their consumption curve than mine. Is there a setting on the inverter to reduce this gap ? Curious to know if anyone has run into this problem. Below is a typical screenshot where we see that the prod used onsite (blue line) is most often 2 to 3 kW below the site's needs. What happens at 16:15 seems particularly telling. Why is the blue line suddenly dropping in sync with the red line when the prod is most likely available. Snapshot.png
Thank you for any insight you may have.
    Cheers,
