Solar Edge finally added and subtracted KWH values correctly on the APP dashboard.

Only took them since May but they finally got a programmer that could add and subtract the correct values sent to them and plug them into a formula

Since my system came online in May the production/export and consumption values have been wrong on the App dashboard. The export value was always zero and my production was added to the house's daily usage purchased from the power company inflating the total. Several attempts with tech support always had the blame placed on me for wrong location of the Ct's, wrong CT value entered into the inverter, you name it was something wrong with my install. (I'm considered a Solar Edge installer because of working for an electrical contractor) Finally just gave up it was a "cute gimmick" having the phone app but not needed since I have an old school wattmeter measuring my production.

Then low and behold yesterday and today the app dashboard is correct. I'll post pics as they say a pic is worth a thousand words

HI Mike, Interesting. Mine (also Solar Edge) has been correct since the original install in Feb 2022. However, I do have a complaint/issue on the battery value (I have a Solar Edge 10KWh battery paired with the system) On the consumption bar, it shows the amount consumed by the battery beneath the little "sun" icon. But about the time the sun goes down the battery and the "sun" icon get combined together. Its not critical, I just don't understand why it does this - and am curious if anyone else with a Solar Edge inverter sees the same thing with their battery consumption display? Note: If I go into the on-line system it does the same thing - will display the battery consumption during daylight hours but then combines it to a "system" number late in the day.

That is a shame Bob but as I have always said if someone relies on a battery for power (emergency or supplement) then they will some day be in the dark.

I don't have a battery so can't help Bob. But if I had to guess the folks building the web page have no idea what to do with the values given them.
