Battery not charging with generator.

Hello! I bought a SRNE 3 in 1 Charger/controller/inverter for my 24v lithium 200ah battery. The unit charges the battery when it's sunny. The inverter works well. But I can't charge the battery with the generator. I see that there is 120V, 61 Hz but no charging. Any suggestions on what to try? I tried to change some of the parameters I tought might be wrong. There is a table with the different parameters config on p.23. My generator is a westinghouse 7500 DF. The cable gauge between the generator and the unit is 12.

Well there are a lot of things that could be wrong.

The frequency could be off. There could be a lot of noise/harmonic content on the generator output. There could be a configuration problem with the inverter/charger. During (attempted) switchover the genny output could be drooping a lot.
