Repair of solar panels

Greetings members. In Feb of this year, we had an Encor 4.8KW system installed on our home. I have 12 Hanwha Q.Peak Duo BLKML-G10 + 385-405 panels installed. We live on a golf course and as luck would have it, one panel took a direct hit. It still seems to be producing power, but the glass is shattered. Is there any repair for this ? I saw on YouTube where someone used a product called Quill-216 to reseal the panel. Any help with this will be appreciated.

Since the panel is already damaged, I'd take a shot on that repair scheme, although I'd not get my hopes up.
Repairing panel glazing and expecting it to restore performance does not have a good track record.

If the cell and encapsulant under the strike aren't damaged your chances of a longer lasting repair are better. Provided the repair material isn't too expensive it's worth a try.

Bad news, there is no way to repair shattered PV panels - good news, they generally continue to work for many years even with shattered glass. Check with your homeowners insurance on getting the panel replaced - being on a golf course is an obvious out for them however....
