I have just added panel cleaning services to my window cleaning business here on the Gold Coast in Australia anybody
here cleaning panels as a business.
Clean using a non-abrasive cleaner. In the long term check the sealing especially in marine use and reseal with a silicon sealant if damage is suspected. Check battery connections periodically when you check battery levels. Fuse holders and connections should be kept dry and clean.

Panel cleaning service is almost non existent 6 months down the track and I have done 1 job, 9 panels !! Panels were 12 months old
and very clean. Window cleaning business is flat out. It seems if you can't see it don't worry about it.
Maybe I am doing it wrong... I use a 12" wide squigie attached to a broom handle. Early morning while still wet from the dew. Once every couple weeks... am I missing something guys...?

Hey Grifter... I hope things have improved on the Gold Coast. I am in Hawaii and have been in business for almost a year. Things are moving slowly, but we are starting to get some consistent clients. We started out focusing on residential clients, but we are finding that commercial jobs have the biggest need. We have a 350 panel system that we are doing this weekend for a client.
One of the biggest factors that has helped us, is the use of Deionized water. This is something that is invaluable to the cleaning of these panels. Zero residue, Zero water spots (even in the peak of the day) just perfectly clean, 100% function panels. Additionally, we are solar installers so we can assist the clients with any suggestions for maintenance for their panels as well.

Did you notice that Grifter has not posted anywhere on the Forum since 2012?
This is a very stale thread, and I am going to close it at this time to make sure no spam links get added into it.
