I have ordered and received extra QC4 and Amphenol UTX connectors. Reading and understanding all of this is a tough for this old guy doing this for the first time.
With everything that has been written when you refer to an "adapter" is it the same as a length of PV wire having a QC4 connector on one end and a Amphenol UTX connector on the other end allowing me to connect to the 2 panels that have those connectors.
Yes if you plan it right, the short sections you cut off can be converted to adapters. You can also
make adapters from scratch, but will need to add connectors on both ends. Bruce Roe
