New Solar Edge inverters (no screen)

He tried to add my email under Associated Accounts and it gives an error " Incorrect email address provided, please enter an administrator email address in the associated account"

This guy on the phone is more than willing to give me access but its just not working where i can see the "show rules" button to create alerts. He sent an email to solar edge so will have to wait to them to respond but in the meantime I hope you might have some insight as well.

You might have to have an installer account already to be associated.
the installer can set up rules that notify you and you should be able to see them

Probably, so is there any way to make this work so i can set the rules myself? According to him if he sets alerts it will be for all the accounts they have and they can't just set alerts for only one account. I'm guessing there is now way to allow me to create alerts?

They edit the alert and out in the person email address of the account to notify on an individual system

they they can't seem to figure it out we'll just have to wait for solar edge get back to them. I still want to know with owner access why I can't set the rules myself?
