    Solar Edge Inverter Wifi Issues

Hi. I've been happy with my solar edge inverter but on changing my broadband provider I've come across an issue. I've followed instructions on how to update the router but am being blocked by an error on the inverter. On going into "communications", I get to "wifi conf (N/A)" so I'm unable to get it to go past here. The manual says that this means there is a problem with the wifi module installation, but helpfully doesn't tell me where to go from there! Can anyone advise please?

is your inverter hard wired to your network with ethernet?
what inverter model do you have? is there a screen on it?

Thanks fir your help ButchDeal. Not hard wired - It connects to the router wirelessly and uses a TPlink. It is a SE HDwave with a screen which is showing "wifi conf N/A". I have noticed that the solar meter is not blinking today either, it just has a static red light.

right that SolarEdge inverter does NOT have WiFi linking capability. It is Hard wired as far as it is concerned.
You configuration changes need to happen with the third party TPlink which is doing the WiFi gateway for the inverter and they are hardwired together.

Have you made any other changes on your inverter? which may have taken it off line?

Oh ok! No, no other changes, just the broadband.

After fiddling with the TPLinks, we are back online! The meter light is now blinking as well. Thank you so much!
