Labor and Labor Cost for Commercial Solar Panel Installation

I am trying to develop a 400 KW Solar Power Project on a Commercial Building on a cost plus basis. The installation will be non-penetrating on the flat roof of the building. Can anybody indicate the type of labor, skillsets and effort involved strictly from a Labor costing perspective. I expect the installation of the inverter, wiring and certification would be part of this process.

    thanks

I know what needs to be done - same as for a house, only more. Because it's a Commercial Building, you may have requirements for Union labor, where homes, advanced handyman work can pass code.

Racks holding the PV need to bolt to the roof, and be waterproof afterwards, meet local wind load and static load codes. May need an engineer to certify.

PV's bolt to the rack - about as much skill as hanging a full length mirror, only the mirror costs $600 each.

PV's wired together - must meet local code

Wires combine in junction boxes, fuses or ckt breakers in boxes. to code

Wires to inverters - still to code, in conduit.

Hang inverters on the walls, conduit to PV and to Load Panel, to code

Inspections by fire, building, electrical and utility before Final.

      costs for this

I am not clear what your exact questions are, are you wondering about what the costs in $ may be for the labor component as well of a project you described in your post?
