Hi there, I have got a problem which I cant understand it. I was using a single 100ah battery in my sytem, but I added another battery in my system and I made a parallel connection to make the total of 200ah battery. the problem is after connecting these two batteries one of them died. I bought another battery but the problem was just there. If any one knows where I made the mistake please help me on this so that I should achieve to get 200ah in my system by using two 100ah batteries.

is the bible on how to connect batteries in parallel. They've updated it a couple of times, and it keeps getting better.
If a battery is weak, it will quickly degrade the good battery, to the weakest battery in parallel. That's the way batteries work. You should never mix batteries, only parallel batteries from the same batch, they will work much better.Powerfab top of pole PV mount (2) | Listeroid 6/1 w/st5 gen head | XW6048 inverter/chgr | Iota 48V/15A charger | Morningstar 60A MPPT | 48V, 800A NiFe Battery (in series)| 15, Evergreen 205w "12V" PV array on pole | Midnight ePanel | Grundfos 10 SO5-9 with 3 wire Franklin Electric motor (1/2hp 240V 1ph ) on a timer for 3 hr noontime run - Runs off PV ||

I already have 4 12 volt batterys hoocked up like this, But I have the wrong type of batteries. I have marine deepcycleComment
